Every business owner or promoter has a set of government portals and platforms they must access regularly — or at least have credentials ready when their CA asks. Losing these means delays in filings, penalties, and unnecessary back-and-forth.
Here is a ready reckoner. Save it, bookmark it, or better — send it to your CA on day one.

A Few Things to Keep in Mind
- Store credentials securely — not on sticky notes or WhatsApp forwards. Use a password manager or at least a locked spreadsheet.
- Keep mobile numbers updated — most portals send OTPs. If your registered mobile changes and you do not update it, you are locked out.
- Track DSC expiry — a digital signature that expires mid-filing season causes real pain. Renew it at least a month before expiry.
- Share access with your CA — your chartered accountant needs authorised access to file on your behalf. Do not make them chase you every quarter.
Use This as a Checklist
If you are onboarding with a new CA or setting up a new business, go through this list on day one. Missing even one credential can delay filings and attract penalties.
At AeTx, this is one of the first things we share with every new client. It saves time, avoids last-minute scrambles, and sets the tone for a clean working relationship.
